Need for attention is normal and common to all humans. Need for comfort is normal and common, need for physical touch is normal, need for validation, for someone to be on your side, for acknowledgment, for positive reaction to yourself, a safe space, need to belong somewhere, need to relate to others, need to express yourself, to talk about yourself, to voice your pain, to feel valued and important, need to connect with others, it’s all normal and a part of just being a human being.

Don’t beat yourself up over having those, if you’re struggling with some of them particularly it doesn’t mean you’re “needy” it means you got way less of it than other humans, anyone who doesn’t get those things would go to deprivation mode and end up craving them severely while also anxious they would be taken away since those needs not being met was always the default.
