its just so depressing to see punk become so commercialized and twisted up on tiktok where skinny jeans with patches on them are called crust pants and the purity culture cottagecore liberals thinking theyre anarchists and i personally am about to start biting people about it

I saw someone post a screen shot of someones crust pants asking where they could buy some or where to buy patches like them and they were.. clearly hand painted patches and hand made crust pants like.. you know…. how crust pants are supposed to be and most people in the comments were just explaining how to make your own patches and the history and significance of DIY punk culture and I thought that was really sweet so plz if you have the time to educate young punks bc everything is online these days we aren’t learning from our older brothers friends in back alleys anymore we gotta adapt and evolve please dont let punk get commercialized please im begging you
